Picea pungens Blue Pearl

Picea pungens ‘Blue Pearl’ is a refined dwarf blue spruce valued for its symmetrical, globe-shaped habit and intensely blue foliage. Selected for its uniform structure and slow growth, this cultivar offers a polished look that requires little maintenance. Short, stiff needles create a dense texture that holds color well throughout the year. It performs best in full sun, where blue tones are strongest, and prefers evenly moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it remains compact and is especially effective in formal plantings, containers, and curated conifer collections.
