Picea abies ‘Pendula’

Picea abies ‘Pendula’ is a dramatic, weeping form of Norway Spruce valued for its graceful, cascading branches and deep green needles. When staked, it develops a tall, narrow leader with strongly pendulous side branches that create a striking vertical accent; left unstaked, it will form a spreading, ground-hugging specimen.

Moderate growing, its ultimate height depends on training, often reaching 10–30 feet tall with a narrow spread. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, and adapts to a wide range of landscape conditions.

Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, ‘Pendula’ makes an exceptional specimen tree, adding year-round texture, movement, and architectural interest to the garden.
