Picea omorika Pendula Bruns

Picea omorika ‘Pendula Bruns’ is one of the most celebrated weeping forms of Serbian spruce, selected in Germany for its strong central leader and tightly cascading branches. Unlike looser pendulous spruces, this cultivar maintains a narrow, vertical profile while draping elegantly downward, creating a dramatic yet controlled silhouette. Soft green needles with silvery undersides add movement and subtle color contrast year-round. It grows best in full sun with evenly moist, well-drained soil and develops at a moderate rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–7, it matures into a striking architectural specimen well suited for focal plantings.
