Picea omorika Kuck Weeping
Picea omorika ‘Kuck Weeping’ is a distinctive weeping form of Serbian spruce selected for its cascading branches and dramatic architectural presence. Unlike broader weeping spruces, this cultivar maintains a relatively narrow profile while allowing branches to drape gracefully. Often trained when young to establish height, it develops a sculptural silhouette that evolves over time. Soft green needles with silvery undersides provide year-round texture and movement. It performs best in full sun with evenly moist, well-drained soil and grows at a moderate rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–7, each specimen becomes a unique focal point in the landscape.
