Picea abies Farnsburg
Picea abies ‘Farnsburg’ is a distinctive dwarf Norway spruce known for its compact, irregular habit and strong architectural character. This cultivar develops a dense framework of short branches with rich green needles, giving it a sculptural quality even at a young age. It prefers full sun and evenly moist, well-drained soil and grows slowly and predictably. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it remains modest in size over time and works beautifully as a focal plant in rock gardens and curated conifer collections.
