Cryptomeria japonica ‘Lobbii Nana’ is a true dwarf form derived from the historic ‘Lobbii’ lineage, selected for its miniature size and slow, deliberate growth. This cultivar forms a low, dense mound of soft green foliage, developing character gradually rather than quickly. It prefers full sun to partial shade and evenly moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–9, it stays small for decades and is especially well suited for rock gardens, containers, and collectors focused on fine-scale conifers.
