Picea pungens Mesa Verde

Picea pungens ‘Mesa Verde’ is a striking weeping blue spruce selected for its cascading habit and dramatic architectural presence. Originating from a naturally pendulous selection, this cultivar is often trained when young to establish height before allowing branches to flow downward. Long, silvery-blue needles enhance its sculptural form and create movement in the landscape. It grows best in full sun with evenly moist, well-drained soil and develops at a moderate rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, each specimen becomes a unique focal point shaped by training and time.
