Picea pungens Mrs. Cesarini

Picea pungens ‘Mrs. Cesarini’ is a refined dwarf Colorado blue spruce selected for its compact size and soft, silvery-blue foliage. This cultivar is believed to have originated in European cultivation and was valued for offering classic blue spruce color on a restrained, garden-friendly plant. Rather than forming a tall pyramid, it develops a dense, rounded to slightly conical habit with excellent texture. It grows best in full sun with well-drained soil and good air circulation. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it remains modest in size and is well suited for rock gardens, containers, and collector plantings.
