Picea abies Compact Asselyn

Picea abies ‘Compacta Asselyn’ is a refined dwarf Norway spruce selected for its tight, compact growth and uniform structure. This cultivar forms a dense, rounded to low pyramidal habit with short internodes and rich green needles, giving it a tidy, composed appearance. It performs best in full sun and prefers cool climates with well-drained, consistently moist soil. Growth is slow and controlled, making it easy to place in small landscapes. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it works beautifully in rock gardens, containers, and formal conifer groupings.
