Tsuga canadensis ‘Geneva’ is a refined dwarf eastern hemlock selected for its compact size and balanced, rounded habit. This cultivar was valued for offering the softness and elegance of native hemlock in a more predictable, garden-friendly form. Fine-textured green needles are densely arranged along short branches, creating a neat, composed appearance year-round. It grows slowly in partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it remains modest in size and works well in foundations, shaded borders, and curated conifer collections.
