Thuja occidentalis Harvest Moon

Thuja occidentalis ‘Harvest Moon’ is a modern golden arborvitae selected for its rich, warm yellow foliage and strong resistance to winter bronzing. Unlike earlier golden forms that fade or brown in cold weather, this cultivar holds glowing gold and amber tones well into winter, giving it extended seasonal value. Dense, upright branching forms a narrow pyramidal shape that stays tidy with little maintenance. It grows best in full sun to partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil and has a moderate growth rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it typically reaches 10–15 feet tall and works beautifully as a colorful screen, hedge, or vertical accent.
