Thuja occidentalis Amber glow

Thuja occidentalis ‘Amber Glow’ is a modern golden arborvitae selected for its rich amber-orange tones that intensify in cooler weather. Unlike many golden thujas that fade or bronze unevenly, this cultivar was chosen for its consistent, warm coloration through fall and winter. Dense, compact branching forms a rounded to slightly conical habit that stays tidy without heavy pruning. It grows best in full sun to partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil and has a slow to moderate growth rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it is especially valued as a color accent in mixed evergreen plantings.
