Picea abies Gold Drift
Picea abies ‘Gold Drift’ is a dramatic weeping Norway spruce known for its cascading branches and bright golden-yellow new growth. This cultivar is often trained to create striking architectural forms, with foliage that glows in spring before maturing to softer chartreuse tones. It performs best in full sun, which enhances its color, and prefers well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Growth is moderate once established. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, its ultimate size and shape depend on training, making each specimen a unique focal point.
