Juniperus communis Compressa Minature

Juniperus communis ‘Compressa Miniature’ is a classic dwarf common juniper long valued for its tight, upright form and dense blue-green foliage. Selected in Europe in the early 20th century, this cultivar grows very slowly, forming a narrow, columnar shape that holds its structure naturally. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and is highly tolerant of cold and exposed sites. Hardy in USDA Zones 2–7, it typically reaches 3–5 feet tall over many years, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, alpine plantings, and small-scale landscapes.
