Abies nordmanniana ‘Pendula’

Abies nordmanniana ‘Pendula’ originated as a weeping selection of Nordmann fir, chosen for its graceful, cascading habit and strong central leader. This cultivar retains the durability and rich green color of the species while offering a distinctly architectural presence in the landscape. It grows at a moderate rate, typically adding 6–8″ per year, forming a narrow, upright tree with pendulous branches that drape softly downward along the trunk. The glossy, dark green needles are neatly arranged and densely set, creating a full, elegant silhouette and a refined texture that remains attractive throughout the year.
