Abies borisii-regis ‘J.K. Greece’ was selected from seed collected in the mountains of Greece, where this natural hybrid fir thrives in rugged, high-elevation conditions. Chosen for its improved color and compact, uniform habit, this selection carries the toughness and adaptability of the species while offering a more refined garden presence. It grows at a moderate rate, typically adding 4–6″ per year, gradually developing a dense, narrowly pyramidal form. The needles are short and neatly arranged, deep green above with silvery undersides that catch the light, giving the plant a subtle two-tone effect and a crisp, handsome appearance throughout the year.
