Picea glauca Daisy White

Picea glauca ‘Daisy White’ is a striking variegated Alberta spruce selection discovered in the Netherlands and named for its creamy white spring growth. In early season, new shoots emerge soft ivory to pale yellow before maturing to green, creating dramatic contrast on an otherwise compact plant. This cultivar retains a dense, conical form and grows slowly, making the color display especially noticeable each year. It grows best in full sun to partial shade with protection from harsh afternoon heat and prefers evenly moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 3–7, it remains small and is prized as a seasonal highlight in conifer collections and containers.
