Itea virginica Little Henry

Itea virginica ‘Little Henry’ is a dwarf selection of the native Virginia sweetspire, developed for smaller gardens while retaining all the charm of the species. In late spring to early summer, it produces gently arching spikes of fragrant white flowers that attract pollinators. Glossy green foliage turns brilliant shades of red, orange, and burgundy in fall, often persisting into winter. It grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–9, it typically reaches 3–4 feet tall and wide with a graceful, spreading habit.
