Forsythia x intermedia Magical Gold

Forsythia × intermedia ‘Magical® Gold’ is a modern introduction bred for heavier flowering, improved branching, and a more compact, uniform habit. Unlike older forsythias that can become leggy, this cultivar maintains a dense structure while producing an exceptional display of bright yellow flowers in early spring. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and grows at a moderate to fast rate. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–8, it typically reaches 4–6 feet tall, making it easier to integrate into smaller landscapes and mixed borders.
