Chamaecyparis pisiferia White Pygmy

Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘White Pygmy’ is a rare dwarf Sawara cypress prized for its compact size and soft blue-green foliage highlighted with creamy white variegation. This slow-growing cultivar forms a low, rounded mound with fine, feathery texture that brightens small spaces. It performs best in full sun to partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil and grows at a very restrained pace. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–8, it remains quite small over many years and is ideal for troughs, rock gardens, and collector conifer plantings.
