Cupressus leylandii Golconda

Cupressus × leylandii ‘Golconda’ is a compact, variegated selection of Leyland cypress chosen for its creamy yellow to soft gold foliage and restrained growth compared to the species. Rather than racing upward, this cultivar develops a dense, conical habit that offers year-round color without overwhelming the landscape. It performs best in full sun, where coloration is strongest, and adapts well to a range of well-drained soils. Hardy in USDA Zones 6–9, it grows at a moderate rate and works well as a specimen or colorful evergreen screen in smaller gardens.
