Cephalotaxus harringtonia Fastigiata
Cephalotaxus harringtonia ‘Fastigiata’ is an upright, columnar form of Japanese plum yew valued for its dark green, glossy needles and dense, vertical habit. This cultivar offers a refined evergreen presence and is especially useful where space is limited but height is desired. It performs best in partial shade to full shade, tolerates sun with adequate moisture, and prefers well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 6–9, it grows at a moderate rate and typically reaches 8–12 feet tall while remaining relatively narrow.
