Cedrus deodara Compacta

Cedrus deodara ‘Compacta’ is a dense, slow-growing selection of deodar cedar chosen for its reduced size and tidy, pyramidal habit. Soft blue-green needles and gently layered branches give it the classic cedar look on a more manageable scale. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, with steady but restrained growth compared to the species. Hardy in USDA Zones 7–9, it typically matures much smaller than standard deodar cedar, making it suitable for residential landscapes and smaller properties.
