Chamaecyparis obtusa Nana Contorta

Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Nana Contorta’ is a distinctive dwarf Hinoki cypress selected for its twisted, contorted branch structure and dense, compact habit. The irregular, sculptural growth gives this cultivar strong character and makes each plant feel one-of-a-kind. It performs best in full sun to partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil and grows very slowly. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–8, it remains small over many years and is an excellent focal point for rock gardens and collector plantings.
